How to install Scanit Dental in 3Shape Unite after Dental System 2023 installation/update.

Starting from Dental System 2023, Scanit Dental module has been relocated to the 3Shape Unite Platform. To use this module, a simple configuration procedure must be completed. You need to open Unite and make sure it’s updated, and Scanit Dental Module is installed.

After installing the Dental System, you will receive a prompt to open Unite and download the necessary modules. When you close this prompt, Unite will start automatically.

• In case you already have 3Shape Unite installed on your system:
  
  Wait for Unite to install any updates and modules. During this process, Unite may restart.
  Required modules will be downloaded automatically but it is also recommended to go and check for updates following these steps:

1. Open Unite and click "More" in the top left corner of the main window.
   
2. Click on “Store” in the dropdown – this will take you to Unite Store.
3. In the Unite Store, click on "App Updates" and then select “Check for Updates.”
4. Finally, click on "Install all Updates." Unite will automatically find and install all available modules.
   
5. After updating Unite, you may need to review your company data following the on-screen instructions and create a PIN code for Unite access on your current device.
   
   

• For the new Unite installation:

Unite is downloaded during Dental System installation. After Dental System is installed Unite will start automatically. It will be required to complete a simple setup procedure. Please, follow all the steps from the Setup wizard:

After the setup is complete, please follow the above steps 1-5 to make sure the latest Unite version is installed.

Once the installation is complete, you can close Unite and proceed with scanning in Dental System.
