How License Renewal Works for Labs

If you have additional software such as Orthodontic Planner, Clear Aligner Studio, or other Studio apps, please be aware that 3Shape only handles after-sales services and subscription management for clinics with a TRIOS scanner.

For labs that do not have a TRIOS subscription, 3Shape will not manage support or subscriptions for these products. In such cases, your reseller will continue to provide support and handle subscription management.

You can find the TRIOS license and any add-on software, such as Ortho or Studio apps, on the 3Shape Webshop.

If you do not see some products on the Webshop, you will need to provide the TRIOS dongle and lab dongle numbers to renew an add-on software license. Contact 3Shape Support, and we will assist you in making all licenses visible and available for renewal on the Webshop.

For stand-alone lab apps (without TRIOS licenses)

If your current reseller is unable to assist with license renewal, contact 3Shape Support. We can help you find a new reseller.
