Low quality of Scans Previewed on Communicate Portal

When a clinic sends a case or receives a designed case from a lab, the 3D model shown on the portal may appear lower in quality compared to the view in Unite, Ortho System, or Dental System. You may notice visible dots or pixelation, as shown in the examples below.

This behavior is expected. The portal displays 3D models at 10% quality to ensure fast loading. Loading models at full quality would take significantly longer due to file size. 

The portal’s 3D view is not intended for clinical evaluation. For high-quality viewing, use Unite, Dental System, Ortho Analyzer, or the 3Shape 3D Viewer.

The portal view is only meant to confirm that scans were sent correctly. It does not alter or affect the original scan quality in any way.
