Setup overview with Unite 24.1
With the upgrade to Unite 24.1, PMS integration supports TRIOS MOVE and multiple devices. It is possible to initiate the workflow on the MOVE or POD directly from the dental chart in any of the operatories.
The Practice Management System and Unite can be installed on different PCs. These PCs must be on the same network in the practice and in the settings page of PMS Unite Host Device has to be inserted. A Host Device can be found on the settings page of Unite.
For Webservice based integrations – PMS can send requests via local network to the chosen Host Device.
For CLI/VDDS based integrations – install a Unite client together with the PMS application and configure the integration. This allows the PMS to communicate with the Unite system. Requests are then shared between all Unite devices including TRIOS MOVE allowing workflow to start from PMS on one computer and then continue on the TRIOS MOVE.

Workflow Unite 24.1 overview
Once you initiate integration from PMS to Create, Update, or Merge, a pop-up with patient's name will appear on each Unite instance(under the same company) in the network. The customer can independently select on which machine he would like to start work.
Setup overview with Unite 21.1-23.1
This section covers the various installation setups for Unite and Practice Management Systems (PMS), demonstrating how to optimize the clinic's workflow and ensure proper data integration across devices.
Setup 1: Single standalone Installation
Unite and PMS on the Same PC: When only one Unite installation is in place, it is necessary to install the PMS on the same PC as the Unite software.
TRIOS MOVE Integration: As PMS can not be installed on Trios Move, Move must be part of a client-server installation. In a clinic environment, patient data is created on the Unite Server PC, which is automatically transferred to the client Trios MOVE device.
Setup 2: Client-Server Installation
Server on one PC: In a client-server setup, installing the PMS on just one device is sufficient. Patient information will be entered and stored on the Unite Server, with data automatically synchronized to all connected Unite client PCs and MOVE devices.
Setup 3: Combined Client-Server and Standalone Installations
Servers on 2 or more different PCs: For setups combining client-server and standalone installations, the PMS must be installed on at least one PC from the client-server setup, as well as on each standalone installation.
