Introduction

Dx is available in two versions—Standard (Free) and Plus (Subscription). This article gives a quick overview of how to manage your subscription, including trial activation, upgrades, cancellations, and payment updates, with links to detailed guides.

Subscription Plan Overview

  • Dx Standard (Free): Includes core monitoring tools like difference maps, cross-section views, and measurement tools. Compatible with all scanners except Core.
  • Dx Plus (Subscription): Adds AI-assisted detection for surface caries, tooth wear, gingival recession, plaque, and proximal caries. Exclusively compatible with TRIOS 6 scans.

Trial Activation

You can activate a free 6-month trial of  Dx Plus if you use a TRIOS 6 scanner and your subscription is managed directly by 3Shape.

Conversion from Free Trial to Paid Subscription

If you enjoy your trial, there is nothing you need to do. Your subscription will automatically be converted to a paid plan at the end of the trial period, ensuring your access to Dx Plus. Billing will follow the same schedule as your Care subscription and renewals will occur automatically until you unsubscribe.

Canceling Trial or Paid Subscription

Cancel your trial directly in the Webshop at least 48 hours before it ends to avoid charges. Once your trial has been converted to a paid plan, cancellations can be made through 3Shape Support. Your case data stays in your account, but you won't be able to work on it without an active license.

Changing Payment Information

You can add, update, or remove your credit card, SEPA, or BACS payment info in your Webshop profile. Only you can manage this – support cannot make changes for you.
