How to enable VistaSoft (Dürr Dental) integration with 3Shape Unite

Prerequisites for the integration:

• 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer. 
• VistaSoft  3.0.20.x or newer. 
• Both standalone and client-server setups are supported, see Known Limitations.

3Shape Unite and VistaSoft (Dürr Dental) integration provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from VistaSoft (Dürr Dental) (Create, merge, and update patient) for faster and easier managing of patient data.  Read more about VistaSoft (Dürr Dental) here.

How to enable the integration in Unite

How to enable the integration in VistaSoft (Dürr Dental)

Please consult VistaSoft documentation. The following steps are provided as an aid to set up and use the integration in VistaSoft software.

1. In VistaSoft navigate to Configuration tab. 
   
2. In the opened window, select "Features" and click "3Shape integration" 
   
3. Go to "Configuration" tab.
   
4. Select "Activating 3Shape integration" and enter your User name and password (the same credentials you have in Unite). 
   
5. Click "Test connection", if the connection was successful you will get the message: "Connection test successful". Press "Save" button to register your changes.
   
6. In Features page, connection State for 3Shape Integration will change to "Activated".
   
7. 3Shape button will be present in the tool bar:

You have now set up the integration.

Known limitations:

• Patient updates are only propagated from VistaSoft (Dürr Dental) to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
