How to enable DentWeb integration with 3Shape Unite

Prerequisites for the integration:

• 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer. 
• DentWeb ver. 24.04.17 or newer. 
• Both standalone and client-server setups are supported, see Known Limitations.

DentWeb(PMS) provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from  (create, merge, and update patient) and allows you to open TRIOS directly from the patient chart for faster and easier scanning.  Read more about  DentWeb Software here.

How to enable the integration in Unite

How to enable the integration in DentWeb

As soon as DentWeb is installed, integration with 3Shape Unite will be enabled automatically. 

When integration is established, standard PMS integration workflows will be available.

Known limitations:

• Regarding different  PMS & Unite setup options and integration on Trios Move, check this article: Practice management system & Imaging system setup overview 
• Patient updates are only propagated from DentWeb to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
• DentWeb does not support customized location of Unite. 3Shape software has to be installed on the C drive. Standard location path for PMS plugin: C:\Program Files\3Shape\Dental Desktop\Plugins\ThreeShape.PracticeManagementIntegration\DentalDesktopCmd.exe.
