Resolving "Error running Splint Studio. Path to Splint Studio was not set" when trying to start design in Splint Studio

This error may appear when starting a Splint Studio design from Dental System.

Error message: 

"Error running Splint Studio. Path to Splint Studio was not set. Please specify the path in Control Panel -> System Settings."

Version Information

Integration between Dental System and Splint Studio is available from Dental System 2.19.3.0 and later, i.e. the splint order can be created and scanned in Dental System and then designed in Splint Studio.

Before You Begin

Before designing splint cases from Dental System, make sure the Splint Studio module is installed in Dental Desktop.

Cause

This error occurs when the path to the Dental Desktop installation containing the Splint Studio module has not been configured in Dental System.

Resolution

Step 1: Open "Dental System Control Panel".

Step 2: Go to "System Settings".

Step 3: Scroll to the "Splint Studio" section.

Step 4: Specify the path to the Dental Desktop application folder where Splint Studio is installed.

Step 5: Save the changes.

Step 6: Restart Dental System and launch the Splint Studio case again.
