D & R-series scanners discontinuation policy

3Shape is phasing out D & R-series lab scanners. The discontinuation policy from a support perspective means that D & R-series lab scanners cannot be replaced to neither new nor refurbished D & R-series lab scanners anymore, but we keep supporting and repairing D & R-series until the "end of repair" date. (see the respective table below)
Repair
D & R-series lab scanners can be repaired until the last repair date or a trade-up to E-lab series can be offered.

Spare Items
Spare items for D & R-series lab scanners will be available until the last repair date.
Software compatibility
Software will be compatible with D & R-series lab scanners until the last "End of SW support" date.
D250, D500, D640, D700, D710, D800 & D810 scanners have been closed for repair and software upgrades.

** The scanners (720 -platform: D700, 710, 500, 800, 810) are not compatible with Dental System 2022.2 (2.22.2.0) (including ScanItDental 2.2.1.0 & Scan Suite 13.1.0). The latest compatible DS version is 2.22.1.1. Please avoid upgrading the above mentioned scanners.
The discontinuation policy is global applicable. No country exceptions are presumed.
