How to enable Novadent integration with 3Shape Unite

Prerequisites for the integration:

• 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer.
• Novadent 10031.x or newer. 
• Both standalone and client-server setups are supported.

3Shape Unite and Novadent (PMS) integration provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from Novadent (Create, merge and update patient) for faster and easier managing of patient data.  Read more about Novadent here.

How to enable the integration in Novadent

To activate the integration in Novadent (Complan), please consult the Novadent (Complan) documentation or contact the Novadent (Complan) support team here. 
After the installation, check the appropriate computer ini.file, the entry should look like:

The following steps are provided as an aid to set up and use the integration in Novadent (Complan) software: 

1. Enable the 3Shape connector by moving the "Start 3Shape Trios" icon the "Inhoud Werkbalk" section in the "Novadent Behandelkaart","Instellingen behandelkaart" section.
2. The "Start 3Shape Trios" icon will now be visible in the "Werkbalk" of the Novadent Behandelkaart.
    

You have now enabled the integration. 

Known limitations:

• Patient updates are only propagated from Novadent (Complan) to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
