How to enable Z1Pro integration with 3Shape Unite

Prerequisites for the integration: 

• 3Shape Unite 1.7.19.x or higher. 
• Z1 version 2.74 or higher. 
• Z1 and 3Shape Unite  must be installed on the same computer.  Both standalone and client-server setups are supported, see Known Limitations.

3Shape Unite and Z1 (PMS) integration provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from Z1 (Create, merge and update patient).  Read more about Z1 here.

How to enable the integration in Unite

How to enable the integration in Z1

Please consult Z1 documentation. For general knowledge, you may use this link. The following steps are provided as an aid to set up the integration in Z1 software.

1.       Navigate to Praxisorganisation and select Stammdaten either by using the menu bar at the top of Z1 or the menu that pops up when you hover with the mouse over the monitor in the middle of your screen.

 

            

             2. Select System

          3. Select Arbeitsplatz.

                                        

 

          4. Select Anbindungen and select VDDS media from the dropdown list.

                                

 

          5.  Save the changes by clicking on Speichern at the top of the window and restart Z1.

 

 

How to enable the integration in Z1PRO 

Please consult Z1 documentation. For general information, you may follow this link. The following steps are provided as an aid to set up the integration in Z1 software. 

1. Navigate to Praxisorganisation and select Stammdaten.
   
2. Select System.
   
3. Select Arbeitsplatz.
   
4.  Select Anbindugen and select VDDS media in the dropdown list.
   
5. Save changes and restart Z1 software.
6. You have now enabled the integration:

Known limitations

• To leverage integration on TRIOS MOVE, Z1 client should be installed on the same device. TRIOS MOVE should be part of client-server installation. 
• Patient updates are only propagated from Z1 to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
