How to enable ClearDent integration with 3Shape Unite

Prerequisites for the integration:

• 3Shape Unite 21.1.x or newer. 
• ClearDent Software v9.1.48 or above with  3Shape Bridge. 
• ClearDent Software  with  3Shape Bridge and 3Shape Unite must be installed on the same computer. 
• Both standalone and client-server setups are supported.

3Shape Unite and ClearDent Software  with  3Shape Bridge (PMS) provides automation of Patient Management in 3Shape Unite from  (Create, merge, and update patient) and allows you to open TRIOS directly from the patient chart in  for faster and easier scanning.  Read more about ClearDent Software  here.

How to enable the integration in ClearDent Software  

To setup integration  from ClearDent Software towards 3Shape Unite, ClearDent Software  with  3Shape Bridge  are required for the integration.
The following steps are provided as an aid to set up and use the integration for ClearDent Software  with  3Shape Bridge.

In order to setup and run the integartion following steps should be performed : 

1.Install the ClearDent Software.

2. Configure  the 3Shape Bridge :

• Description - brief description added for configuration.
• EXE location - file path to the 3Shape command line integration program.  
  C:\Program Files\3Shape\Dental Desktop\Plugins\ThreeShape.PracticeManagementIntegration\DentalDesktopCmd.exe
• Arguments - the detailed configuration of parameters passed to 3Shape  which is configured : 
  -integrationid={PatientGUID} -firstname={PatientFirstName} -lastname={PatientLastName} -birthday={PatientBirthday} -patientid={PatientID} -merge 
  

3. Open the Patient chart in ClearDent. 
4. Click on ‘3shape’ button to run the 3Shape Bridge.

As soon as you set the integration up, standard PMS integration workflows for patient create , update and merge will be available.

Known limitations:

• To leverage integration on TRIOS MOVE, ClearDent Software with  3Shape Bridge  should be installed on the same device. TRIOS MOVE should be part of client-server installation.
• Patient updates are only propagated from ClearDent Software  to 3Shape Unite. Not the other way around.
