Resolving "Stream read error" when opening Dental Manager or Dental System Control Panel

When trying to open Dental Manager or “Dental System Control Panel”, the application fails to start and immediately closes after displaying an error message.

Cause

This issue occurs when there is insufficient free space on a local disk.

In most cases, the problem affects the drive where Dental System is installed, but it may also occur if other system drives are full.

Affected Versions

Potentially all Dental System versions

Resolution

Free up disk space by removing unnecessary files or moving data to another storage location. Ensure there is sufficient free space available, then restart Dental System.
