Resolving "Not All Scans Are Saved" in ScanIt Dental for RPD or Full Denture Orders

After completing all scan steps for an RPD or Full Denture order in ScanIt Dental, the following message may appear on the "Inspect" step, preventing you from continuing with the design:

Error message: "Attention: not all scans are saved"

Cause

This issue mainly affects Dental System 2018, 2.19.1.0, and 2.19.2.0.

A common cause is that the model was not scanned completely or was not trimmed correctly. As a result, ScanIt Dental cannot generate the base required for RPD and Full Denture scans.

Resolution

Step 1: Verify that the model has been scanned completely. If necessary, rescan the model.

Step 2: Try trimming the scans differently and repeat the scan workflow.

Step 3: If the issue persists, create an order with a different restoration type (for example, a crown), scan the model, and then import the scans into a new RPD or Full Denture order.

Step 4: If possible, upgrade to Dental System 2.19.3.0 or later, where improvements for this issue are available.
