Resolving Missing Screw Holes in CAM Output for Abutment Cases

This article explains how to resolve an issue where the generated CAM output for an abutment does not contain a screw hole, even though the CAD file includes the screw hole.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to disable the "Append hole patches" option.

Step 1: Open "Dental System Control Panel".

Step 2: Select "Implant Systems".

Step 3: Select the required implant system and implant kit.

Step 4: Click "Edit".

Step 5: Clear the "Append hole patches" option.

If the implant kit is locked for editing and the settings are unavailable, the kit cannot be modified by the end user. In this case, contact the implant library provider.
