Resolving Issues Opening Dental System Applications with Duet Display Installed

When Duet Display is installed on the same PC as Dental System, some applications may fail to open, including:

• Dental Designer
• Model Builder
• Splint Designer

Instead of opening, the application may display the following message:

“The application didn't make any output files.”

Cause

This issue is caused by Duet Display, which is not fully compatible with Windows and may interfere with applications that use the OpenGL graphics interface, including Dental System applications.

Resolution

Step 1: Uninstall Duet Display from the PC running Dental System.

Step 2: Restart the computer.

Step 3: Open the affected Dental System application again and verify that it launches successfully.

If a secondary display application is required, use an alternative solution that is compatible with Windows and does not interfere with OpenGL applications.
