How to Use the My3Shape app

Step-by-step instruction

The My3shape app was created to improve the relationship between the Doctors and their patients. Its goal is to excite the patients by allowing the Doctor to send the patient's scans directly to their Phone using their personal email to open the app.

1. After the Doctor has scanned the patient, before he sends the scans to the lab, he/she has the option to send the scans to their patient by clicking on the Send to Patient button (highlighted in yellow in the picture below)
   
2. Upon clicking on the Send to Patient button, a window will pop-up where the Doctor can write the patient's email (if it was not filled in already when the patient was created) and also create a unique PIN (temporary code) for the patient, in order to add some extra security but the creation of this PIN is optional.
3. The Doctor clicks on the save button and then sends the case to the clinic/lab as usual.
4. The patient will receive an email, instructing them to download the My3Shape app to their phone( IOS or Android).
5. The Patient opens the My3Shape app on their phone and click on "Please sign up".
   
6. The patient enters his/her email account ,the PIN (if it was created by the doctor) and clicks on Continue.
   
7. The patient will be prompted to create a new password for themselves.
8. The last scan done by the Doctor will be loaded.
   
9. The patient can see their scanned models (only the last scan at the moment) when it finishes loading.
