Resolving Orders That Cannot Be Accepted Automatically in 3Shape Communicate Inbox

Error message: “Order requires manual handling and cannot be accepted automatically.”
Affected versions: All Dental System versions.
Possible root cause: One or more prerequisites for automatic order acceptance are not configured.
Requirements for Automatic Order Acceptance
For orders to be accepted automatically, all of the following requirements must be met.
The sender must exist in "Sites"
- The sender of the order must already exist as a Dentist or Lab in "Dental System Control Panel" > "Sites".
If the sender does not exist, accepting an order from that sender for the first time will prompt Dental Manager to open the appropriate section of "Dental System Control Panel" > "Sites" so the contact can be created.
A conversion rule must exist
- A conversion rule must be configured in: "Dental System Control Panel" > "General" > "Order Import"
Conversion rules store the user's selections for imported orders, such as:
- Indication
- Material
- Manufacturing process
- Color
- Implant system
- Other order parameters
Once a conversion rule is saved, it can be applied automatically to future orders that match the same criteria.
The conversion rule must use the "autoreplace" mode
For automatic acceptance, the conversion rule must be configured to use:
"Don't show order form (autoreplace)"
instead of:
"Show order form (use as default)"
This setting is available in: "Dental System Control Panel" > "General" > "Order Import"
Result
Once all of the above requirements are met, new orders received from the same sender that match an existing conversion rule will be accepted automatically without displaying the Order Form.
